From the breakfast items waiting for me, to the creek where my dog, Tobin loved to run and cool off, to the screened in porch and rocking chairs…every part of the stay allowed me to unplug and reset and mentally and emotionally prepare as a teacher for the school year ahead!

Hummingbird Haven is one of the most peaceful cabins I’ve ever stayed. Daisy and Tony were the most gracious hosts. They were warm and friendly. The cabin was clean and cozy. It was nice to get away from cell phones and television and just relax and be in nature. The best part was getting up before sunrise, making a cup of coffee and sitting in the screened-in porch and watching the birds.

This is a place you can go and reflect. Perfect for writing. It's quiet and peaceful. The hosts are friendly and considerate. I enjoyed my stay very much.
